Visitors to this pretty park usually see abundant wildlife, including species such as gopher tortoises, nesting bald eagles, whitetail deer, and various wading birds. American alligators are often seen sunning along the lake’s edge. During winter, thousands of “buzzards,” actually black vultures and turkey vultures, roost in the trees and soar overhead. Nearly 80 percent of the Coastal Plain’s plant community can be found along the park’s Coastal Plain Nature Trail, making this park’s habitat some of the most diverse in the country. Reed Bingham is less than six miles from I-75, making it a relaxing stop for travelers. It was named for Amos Reed Bingham who was instrumental in having the park established. |

The beachside pavilion, 7 picnic shelters, 4 group shelters, and the day-use island are scenic spots for parties, reunions, weddings and other celebrations. The campground features 46 large, spacious campsites with water, electrical, cable television, 30 amp or 50 amp services, comfort stations and some sewage sites. Our newest addition is the Paddle in Island Campsite located on one of the many islands at the park. An additional pioneer site is available and favored by many youth and scout groups. |

For reservation inquiries please call 1-800-864-7275. For Park inquiries please contact the park at 229-896-3551. A Parkpass is required for all vehicles. Price for parkpasses are not included with the reservation. ParkPass fees are as follow: 1-12 passenger vehicles $5 per day or $50 annual ParkPass; 13-30 passenger vehicles $30 per day or $75 annual ParkPass; 31 or more passenger vehicles $70 per day or $250 annual ParkPass; Georgia active duty military/veterans $3.75 per day or $37.50 annual ParkPass. Overnight guests pay only one fee for the duration of their stay. The daily ParkPass is valid at all state parks visited the same day and is not valid at state historic sites. Picnic shelter #8 does not have water, electrical. Located on the playground, near a restroom, and near mini-golf. Each site has either a 30 or a 50 amp electrical service depending on site type. Grills are not on the campsites. Sewage hookups are on premium sites only. If arriving after park office hours, please proceed to the campground host office or call the park office for more information at 229-896-3551. A clean up fee of $100/$50/$40 will be charged if the facility is left unclean and in unsatisfactory condition. Picnic Shelters 2-7 have water, electrical. Picnic Shelter #8 does not have water, electrical. Picnic Shelter #8: Open sided, covered shelter located on the playground, near restroom facilities, and near mini-golf. |

A 375-acre lake and 3 miles of Little River are popular with boaters and skiers, and fishing for bass, crappie, catfish and bream is excellent. The beach is also a popular spot to cool off and enjoy a warm summer day. |

Three boat ramps give access to the lake and river for fishing, skiing, or paddling. Canoes and kayaks are available for rent to explore the beautiful lake lined with fragrant water lilies and tupelo trees. Paddlers can also tour the river and bird watch or look for other wildlife along the way. Guided pontoon boat tours are sometimes offered during events and weekends. Our popular mini-golf course is always a fun activity to share with family and friends. Bike rentals are available to explore the park or peddle your way along the multi-use trails. Hiking is popular here and each trail features a different habitat and natural areas making each trail an unique experience. |
